The 15th World Congress of Pharmacology
Awards:
Natural Products Young Investigator Awards
The Officers of the Working Group on the Pharmacology of Natural Products selected ten abstracts, dealing with the pharmacology of natural products and submitted by participants younger than 37 years of age who were willing to enter the competition for Young Investigators Award. A special poster presentation session was devoted to those ten abstracts at the end which, the Jury, consisting of the members of the Working Group attending the Congress, designated Xu Yan-Chun, University of Hong Kong received the first Prize (800 US $), Noriko Yoshikawa, Mukogawa Women's University, Japan and Sang- Hyun Kim,Kyungpook National University Medical School, Korea the second Price (400 US $). Jiang Ning, Beijing Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology, PR China, Selen Isbir- Soylemez,Gazi University, Turkey and Lei Zhu, Anhui Medical University, PR China the third Prize (200 US $).This competition is made possible by an Educational Grant of the ChinTao Life Sciences Foundation (Hong Kong). |
